Weekly Sports report – Week 3 - Hilary W/C: Monday 22nd January

Hockey

Well done to the U16As for their emphatic 2-1 victory over Bradfield in Round 2 on the National Cup. Saturday saw a wide range of competitive matches played across all age groups against KES Southampton. There were a number of tightly contested battles and a great display of Hockey across the board. In an 11-goal thriller, the 1st XI claimed their victory over KES, 7 goals to 4. Congratulation to Rob Lecane and Ross Mabon on making their 1st XI debuts.

Netball

A tough day at the office for our netball girls vs Teddies. The 1st team were dominant in defence making countless turnovers but struggled to turn the turnovers into goals. The 2nd and 3rd teams had a similar theme on their courts. Lots of positives to work on in the run up to this weeks home fixtures vs Headington.

Football

The footballers took to the field against Radley College on Saturday. Too many errors cost the 1st XI, and a competitive Radley side dominated throughout. The final score was 5-0 to Radley. An improved display from the 2nd and 3rd XI, saw two competitive fixtures. The 2nds lost 7-2 and the 3rd XI, 9-4, with Alex Maynard Scoring a Hatrick. Our U16 team managed to continue their 100% record against a strong Radley team, winning 6-2. 4 goals from Ethan McMillan.
