U13D lost 6-3, with many of the team playing their first fixture for the school

2nd XV lost 20-7

3rd XV lost 23-20 in two combined 10-a-side fixtures due to opposition numbers

U16A won 29-14

U15A & U15B lost 41-5

Girls’ Hockey

v Sir William Borlase’s

1st team indoor hockey side won 5-4

Netball

1st VII squad played twice this week. They beat St John’s College, Portsmouth and won convincingly 65-25. They also played against Lord Williams’, whom they lost to 24-16. Both games served as excellent preparation for the county tournament this weekend.

Badminton

1st VI lost 6-2

Cross Country

Congratulations to both the Junior and Inter boys cross country teams who both finished 2nd in local round of the English Schools Cross Country Cup on Thursday.

Team of the week – 1st XV rugby team for a fantastic win. This is the 6th time in the past 9 years that MCS has won the first team fixture.
